VIRTUAL STUDIO BEGINNERS PILATES COURSE

If you have never done Pilates before, or if you have tried it but never felt you really got the hang of it - then this course is for you. 

​

It is Pilates from scratch, where each movement is explained step by step to ensure you're activating, strengthen and moving your body in the optimal way. 

How it works?

  • The classes will be held every Monday from 6.30pm - 7.30pm (UK) via Zoom.

​

  • After each class you will be send a link for the recording of the class - perfect for those who are unable to attend a session. 

​

  • Each week we will focus on different aspects of Pilates, building a large repetorie of foundation level Pilates. 

​

  • Each movement will be explained fully so you have an in-depth understanding of why you're doing it, how to do it and the key teaching points to ensure it is safe and effective for you. 

​

  • Every exercise will have a modification (for those wanting to master the basic movement) and a progression (for those wanting to spice things up and challenge their body). â€‹

  • The program is developed and led by Physiotherapist, Fiona Brook, who will tailor each exercise to you. 

​

  • Before the course begins, you will receive a complimentary 15 minute call with Fiona to discuss your goals, a little medical history, any previous or current injuries you have and simply to get to know your little better so you can get the best out of the classes. 

​

  • ​Each week we will focus on different aspects of Pilates, building a large repertoire of Foundation Level Pilates exercises. 

​

  • Each movement will be explained fully so you have an in-depth understanding of why you're doing it, how to do it and the key teaching points to ensure it is safe and effective for you. 

​

  • Every exercise will have a modification for those wanting to master the basic movement, and a progression for those wanting to spice things up and challenge their body. 

​

  • After each class you will be sent a link for the recording of the class - so you never miss a session. 

​

  • Throughout the course you will have full access to contact Fiona with any questions or concerns relating to the classes, and recieve weekly emails with extra exercises, updates and advice.

  • Confident and competent with the Pilates Fundamentals and know how to perform all Foundation Level Pilates exercises

  • Ready to take part in the Intermediate Level classes

  • Stronger, more flexible, have better joint mobility, balance and coordination

​

  • Much more knowledgable about your body and movement 

​

  • Less likely to suffer injuries 

​
