Fiona is a Chartered Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor and Massage Therapist.
Having graduated with a First Class Honours in two degrees (BSc Physiotherapy and BSc Psychology) Fiona has a complex understanding of both the mind and body, which truly compliments her role as a therapist.
Since qualifying Fiona has worked in both the NHS and private sector, working with a variety of patients from elite level athletes to the elderly - and everyone inbetween.
Fiona has been practicing Pilates for over 10 years and, more recently, trained with APPI to complete the full Pilates Matwork Series, enabling her to teach and share her passion with clients from beginner to advanced level.
With a thirst for knowledge, Fiona regularly undertakes specialty post-graduate training to ensure she keeps up to date with the most recent, evidence-based treatments and approaches to rehabilitation.
When not treating or teaching, Fiona is most likely to be found outdoors. She's a keen runner, horse rider, skier and cyclist (fair weather only!) and is happiest when in the Dales on a long walk with her two dogs - Barney and Pippin*.
